Around the first of March 2011 Keith contacted me via email at my Lost Ring Finders web site. He had lost his Texas A&M class ring while gardening at his cattle ranch. We arranged to meet there March 12th and after a brief visit and configuring my metal detectors we set out to find his lost ring. The search area was relatively small and his recollection of the day's events when it was lost led me to a quick recovery. Within 5 minutes of searching with my Fisher F4 Detector the treasured Aggie Ring was back on his finger. Keith was very happy, so was I. As it turns out this ring has a great deal of sentimental value. Keith graduated from Texas A&M with his wife, they stood next to each other on stage to receive diplomas. The ring had very meaningful inscription on the inside written in cursive (ring companies no longer do this). My job complete before noon I decided to spend the remainder of the day treasure hunting Needville Texas school grounds and a Brazos river bottom sand bar. All in all it was a great and satisfying Saturday. There is no better feeling on the planet than finding lost treasure for someone.
A video of this Ring Search and Recovery is posted below the picture of Keith's Aggie Ring with Diamond.
